Sea Bottom In Maya

Young upcoming graphic artist, Josh Edmonds, has been trying his hand at conquering Maya. Maya is a awesome computer software program for creating 3D graphics and animations.
Above is a still shot of what Josh calls his "sea bottom". Each element is built on a wire frame then surface textures are mapped onto the wire frames. Light sources can be altered in terms of numbers, direction, and intensity. Josh says he just getting started, so we'll have to keep an eye on him. Good work, Josh!
Below is the animated version of the same artwork. Awesome, dude!
