Animusic

We discovered these music CDs while out shopping one day. Their titles are Animusic and Animusic 2, and they are both fabulous! The CDs have been out for a while, and some have told us that they saw the first them on public television.

Long-story-short, they are CDs of digitally produced music played by computer-generated musical instruments. The precision is unbelievable, and the music is great.

What's really cool is that the animation is not matched to a pre-existing track, but the music causes the instruments to play. They can play any MIDI track sent to them via special software written by the authors.
